Monthly beats lump sum more often than founders expect
This gets almost no attention because it is not a headline crore figure. But a predictable Rs 20,000 a month against rent, power and internet is often worth more to a lean early team than a one-off grant that gets spent in a quarter. It covers the fixed costs that kill you slowly, and it does it for twelve months.
Also worth knowing
The policy launched on 24 January 2025, so it is established rather than new. State policies outside Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai are consistently under-read, which also means less competition for the same money.
